Tu Solo Tu ( You only You)

mood: Relaxed
craving: the weekend!!!! I can't wait to see you, Jessica.. :) :) :)

Salam Alykom and Hello to all my readers and followers, I've been very busy and we've had a very nice long weekend. I hope everyone had a great weekend and this week will pass fast for y'all so everyone gets to relax on the weekend. On to my entry.

My mind is trying to go back to a place when I had no worries and my two best childhood friends were just a hop, skip and a jump away. I can remember the first day we met in  June of '78. I rode my little pink bike over, I rode right up to them and said, "Can we be best friends?" They both looked at me and smiled and that was my thumbs up to get off my little bike and start playing with them both. The rest is history. Margie and Jessica have since then been like my two sisters. They're sisters in real life, and all the years we have been friends, we've had our up's and down's, but at the end, we always end up coming back together laughing, crying and reminiscing about our good and bad times we had. It's all good at the end.

Jessica when she was 8yrs old.. LOL the picture matches perfect with the above picture of her husband... Many years later. They've been happily married 21 yrs.

I'm sure y'all are wondering, who's this guy in the funny custom playing the Guitar? Well, his name is, George (BTW-he's one of the most AMAZING men I know) I can thank his mother for that. He's Jessica's husband.  We went to Austin with my other childhood bestie, Margie, Jessica's sister. Jessica just turned 40 yrs old on September 8th and her son, Jacob just turned 18 yrs old back in September. So, they had a nice big party for Jessica and Jacob. So, on to the story. I was so excited to see mom Pena, Jessica and Margie's mom. I hadn't seen her since the day my mom was buried, Her and my mom were best friends. Talk about nostalgia when I seen her. I ran up to her as fast as I could and hugged her so tight and we both cried. I'm sure a lot of different feelings were going on in our minds. She of course, looked at me and I looked at her and just cried more. I saw people I hadn't seen for many years and just sitting around talking to them was enough to put a smile on my face for years to come. George (Jessica's hubby) surprised Jessica with Mariachi's and then he came out singing with the Mariachi's, he was singing to none other than his beautiful most gorgeous wife, Jessica.

We never know what tomorrow will bring. Months later Jessica was diagnosed with Cancer. She's pulling through and God's willing she will pull through all the way. We video chat almost every night and talk all the time. I know just why I came back to the States. Jessica, I'm here for you. I love you.

final whisper: I Wish You Knew how Amazing and Inspiring you are. You have no clue. We love you.
