mood:
craving: alone time
After the sad news, I just wanna drive to a far away place and let my thoughts go. Place a blanket on the sand or maybe just lay in the sand and look up at the starry night and think. I'm starting to process the news and it has really hit me hard. I finally talked to Gloria; she was so shocked to hear my voice and she cried as she told me, "I never forgot you or your mom."
I couldn't hold my tears back, if I would of even tried (which I did) I felt like my throat would explode. So, I cried quietly and just wanted to hold her in my arms and tell her, "Everything is going to be okay." but it's kinda hard to do when you live so far away.I plan to see her this year, God's willing. We cried - laughed and reminisced about old times. We talked about Christina and she told me what is going on. I couldn't believe half of it, I had to hold back more tears.
She thanked me for calling and she promised she would update me about the situation. I will (God's willing) never loose touch with her.
After talking to her for over an hour, I sat on my bed and just stared at the ground. I felt so numb.
This life is full of whirlwinds: if you let it tear you down, it's going to destroy you. And at the end of the day, the only thing that will keep you sane is prayer and Allah (God) ..
"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits of your toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the ones who receive guidance." (Quran - 2:155-157)
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. Qur'an 94:5-6
Final Whisper: have faith in God - hold on to your prayers
