You're never out of my mind

mood: a heavy heart
craving: a hug from my mom

Salam alykom & Hello to my gorgeous followers. I hope y'all had a great weekend. On to my entry.

Today marks the 15th year I stopped seeing your beautiful face. I miss you, Mom. ♥

Your Mother Is Always With You

Your mother is always with you...

She's the whisper of the leaves

as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of bleach in

your freshly laundered socks.
She's the cool hand on your

brow when you're not well.
Your mother lives inside

your laughter. She's crystallized

in every tear drop...
She's the place you came from,

your first home.. She's the map you

follow with every step that you take.
She's your first love and your first heart

break....and nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, Not space...

Not even death....

will ever separate you

from your mother....
You carry her inside of you....

Oddly enough, today is also Abo Azooz's 30th b-day. Happy b-day, Abo Azooz. May Allah give you only good in this life.

final whisper: Thank you, Mom, for always being there for me and loving me unconditionally. I miss our crazy times together, miss our movie nights with pizza and tons of junk food. I miss us singing in the car together and laughing so hard we cry. I miss the talks we used to have and dancing in your kitchen. I miss your tight hugs and kisses. I miss you chasing me with your shoe, because I did something wrong. And at the end of the chase we would fall on the floor laughing so hard, with our legs up in the air holding our tummies. I miss you, your voice, your smell and your love.

Mom 1941-1996:- You will always be loved and missed.

Beautiful post. For me it's my dad. The 10 year mark just passed since we lost him. May your mother rest in peace dear sister.

Moms are gems - put up with so much, teach us so much, endure so much.

Hope I can treat mine better in the years we have together.
