Wa Alaykum Salam,

What a great post and I'm also a fan of Twizzle's Blog, you both introduced me to the Blog world, I never really sat here reading other peoples Blogs (only food blogs lol what a heffer) but I now find my self looking out for your next post. I have met people like this and sometimes I just feel bad for them, I mean why do they do it? It's a little hard being friends with someone who you know for a fact is a liar. You sit here thinking about what she has said and what percentage of it is actually true and what is all a LIE. lol! Kinda funny... InshaAllah we don't get caught up in any of this liar liar Drama.

P.S, ask me how much I weigh and I'm fixtin to lie to you, even if I don't believe it my self. :)

Fantastic post girls! I love both of your blogs.. you already know that though :P

I completely agree with you both. These liars are something else. I honestly can't stand it. And I really do wonder if they are fooling themselves? Do these people actually think we believe them? or are they convincing themselves. SubhanaAllah

May Allah protect us from these kinds of people. Ameen!

Great great great post! love u both to bits

Subhan'Allah! Jazak Allahu khair for posting that hadith! It is both shocking and upsetting to find that everything you knew about a person was TOTALLY wrong!! :( May Allah guide those people and protect us from them and protect us from becoming like them! Ameen

Great post sisters!
I loved how Texan put her notes in red, it was funny to read.
I totally agree with you. I hate liars. They are not only lying to us but lying to themselves. I dunno how they do it, I find it amazing.

Ameen to everyones duas!

Asalamu Alaykum. Great Posts by both of you -and the comments loooooooooool.!! Well what makes me irrate ( not angry... lol) is that when some Muslims lie they create such a bad image of Islam and the rest of Muslims in general. In our days this is all it takes and the whole thing is blown out of proportion. May Allah protect us from this fitnah. Excellent topic and thought provoking." Think of the " damage" even a little white lie can cause. May Allah swt keep us all on His Straight Path. Wa Salaam and looking forward to the next blog post Insha Allah

Can I just say the way that was written was REALLY confusing! LOL!!!

Great post though, may Allah guide us all and protect us from the evil of ourselves and others amin!

Sometimes you just need to cut toxic people out of your life, even if you feel bad for them... sometimes even if you care about them.

I have no room in my life for people who wont tell the truth! It's so frustrating and difficult to deal with someone who you know is lying to your face.

MashaAllah, you know how I feel about liars too, from my blog. I have a hard time trusting people because of past experiences regarding this whole subject. :(

You know I love your blog and Twizzles too, LOL ♥♥♥

Both of you sweet sisters are great and amazing bloggers! I loved the post and I loved your comments Texan.

Oh I know all about compulsive liars; I have seen a lot of them! It is absolutely abhorent to have such people around us, and I always ask myself why they lie and never feel ashamed of what they are doing to others and to themselves! There is no reason at all for people to lie! That is why I never understand this phenomenon.

Honesty is what atrracts people to us and makes them love us and want us for friends, not lying!

OMG!!

Fabulous post dear Twizzle and Texan.
(((Hugs)))

This post rings a lot of bells for me lol. It's sad to see sooo many people do it though... and what's worse is that they're hypocritical about it as well.

I tried to live my life not trusting anyone... it wasn't very pleasant. At the end of the day I was the only one hurting because of it. Now I take my time to get to know people and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. I try to assume well of others but once they show signs that they aren't completely trustworthy that's when I put my guard on!

as-salaam aleikum wa rahmatullah,

jazakAllah khair for all of the comments! :)

Texan in UAE, jazakAllah khair for the blogger award :) I love it MashaAllah!

It really is unfortunate that think they have to lie to make themselves feel better. For some its a habit but for others it truly is a mental illness.

Inshallah the ones I have encountered are able to eventually recognize they are lying all the time and work hard to be true.

Twizzle, it's a mental illness. It's a shame these type of people don't get help.
